In-House Information

In-house soccer division is an environment where players ages 3 - 10 can learn the basics of the game. This environment is constructive, positive, and fun. In-house soccer helps players learn the basic soccer skills, stay physically active, participate on a team, and become excited about the game. The objectives of in-house soccer are to promote sportsmanship and encourage a love for soccer. We ask that coaches and parents set the example for players to follow.
Little Kickers
ABE offers a program called Littel Kickers for younger players, ages 3 and 4. Little Kickers is a great opportunity for younger players to learn the basic skills of soccer and participate in a physical activity. Little Kickers do not have games like the other in-house teams. Instead, the younger players practice their skills on Saturdays for about one hour. These training sessions encourage fun through different games and activities; perfect for the younger players.
In-House Equipment
Safety is very important to the ABE Soccer Association; therefore, it is important to properly dress your player.
Game Jerseys - Players should wear an ABE reversible jersey for all games. New jerseys can be ordered during registration and picked up the first day of games.
Shin Guards and Soccer Socks - Shin guards are mandatory for all practices and games. Shin guards should cover a player's shin completely to reduce injuries. Soccer socks are worn on the outside of the shin guards.
Soccer Shoes - Soccer cleats are encouraged, but they are not required, especially for the younger players. Soccer cleats do not have a toe cleat. Players with a toe cleat will not be allowed to play in games.
Soccer Balls - Players should bring a personal soccer ball to all practices to help with drills and games. Soccer ball sizes are based on a child's age.
